Boating has always been a part of Brian’s life. He grew up on a lake in Michigan, where he learned to sail. He d began whitewater raft guiding in college. After moving to Washington he recognized a need for quality guided trips on the stunning rivers of the North Cascades and started a rafting company. Brian currently works as a sailboat rigger and sailing instructor, and spends his free time racing his boat on the waters of the Salish Sea. USCG 100 ton Masters License. Head Instructor Magellan Sailing School.

Worked eighteen years as a manager & buyer for Nordstrom.
Grew up travelling around the world as the daughter of a Naval Aviator.
Owns a natural dye yarn business.
